BACKSTORY
There is no explanation. There is no map. There is no safe room.
You are Unit 10. They are everything else. They are living remnants from the cores of stars.
Each kill charges the KANDO meter. Fill it ten times, and something shifts, the world goes red, bullets come faster, scores double. They call it KANDO MODE. Nobody knows who "they" are. Nobody who reached wave 10 came back to explain.
Survive as long as you can. Post your initials. Be remembered.
HOW TO PLAY
KANDO10 is a top-down arcade shooter built around a single escalating mechanic: the KANDO meter.
Kill 10 enemies without dying to fill it. When it hits 10, Kando Mode activates, your fire rate doubles, bullets turn red, scores multiply, and every enemy speeds up. The meter resets when the timer runs out or when you take a hit. Build it back up. Go again.
Each wave ramps up enemy count and speed. Waves are cleared by reaching the kill target. Every 5th wave ends with a Boss.
CONTROLS
Move - WASD
Aim - Arrow Keys
Fire - Space
Pause - P
Movement uses momentum; acceleration builds as you hold a direction, and you slide to a stop when you let go. Use it.
ENEMIES

| BOSS (gold) | Spawns every 5th wave. Fires 8-directional bullet rings. Gets faster and denser the longer it lives. |
POWER-UPS
Dropped randomly when enemies die. Fade out if not collected in time.

SCORING
- RUNNER: 100 pts
- FAST: 150 pts
- TANK: 300 pts
- SHOOTER: 200 pts
- SPLITTER: 250 pts (children: 80 pts each)
- BOSS: 2,000 pts
COMBO MULTIPLIER: Kill enemies in quick succession to raise your combo (x1 up to x10). All points are multiplied by the current combo. The combo resets if you stop killing for too long or take a hit.
Kando Mode: All points are doubled while active.
Stack both for maximum damage.
LEADERBOARD
Top 5 scores are saved locally. At game over, if you qualify, enter your 3-letter initials in arcade style. Accessible mid-game from the pause menu.
