STORY

The year is 1943. You wake up inside the abandoned Blackwood Asylum. The staff performed forbidden rituals on their patients, and something got out. An entity stalks these halls, feeding on fear. Find the 5 scattered ritual pages to seal it and escape.

  WASD / Arrow Keys  -  Move

  F -  Toggle Flashlight

  E -  Interact (doors, pages, hide spots)

  SHIFT -  Sprint (drains stamina)

GAMEPLAY TIPS

----------

  - Keep your flashlight on to maintain sanity (battery drains!)

  - Battery slowly recharges when the flashlight is OFF

  - Hide in lockers when the entity is nearby

  - Each page makes the entity MORE aggressive

  - Find all 5 pages, then reach the EXIT in the East Wing

  - Low sanity = hallucinations and visual distortion

  - Sprint to escape, but stamina runs out fast!

  Play with HEADPHONES for the best experience!

HOW TO RUN

----------

Requirements: Python 3.8+ and Pygame

WINDOWS:   Double-click "run_game.bat"

MAC/LINUX: Open Terminal in this folder, then run: chmod +x run_game.sh && ./run_game.sh

The launcher auto-installs Pygame if needed.
